Promising Poets’ Poetry Cafe

I heard fun rhymes in my head upon receiving notice for Week 47, and thought that I would write a tribute to all the poets of the rally.

The Poets’ Rally!

It’s the poets’ rally,

I dare not dally!

Or I will be late

And miss that deadline date!

Once again, poetry,

Offered quite humbly,

Becomes the focus

Of poets’ penned success.

The words shared from deep soul–

Emotional role—

Savor victories

And carve timeless mem’ries.

That’s why we gather here,

Each other to cheer,

Finding allies bound

By thoughts put into sound!

I was found by Jingle, who was willing to give my writing a chance and submit my work for this site.  After three submissions, I received notice that I had “won the perfect poet award for week 46!”  If you ever wish to visit this site, the information is below!

This award was given for either of two poems (though I wasn’t notified as to which it was)– Biggest Fan, or Growing Pains.
